——Have you packed … yet ?
——Yes , I have already… .
No , I haven’t … yet .
它的否定式是may not have,意思是“不见得会...”,may have也可以用 might have代用。 He may(might) have telephoned last night,but I’m not sure. (=Perhaps he telephoned last night.) He might not have telephoned last night. 3.什么叫"We’ve sold out"? We have sold out all the tickets. 4.It may have begun already. (=Perhaps it has begun already.) 5.The play may begin at any time. (=Perhaps the play will begin at any time.)
at any moment 随时 what a pity 真遗憾 just then 正在那时 We’ve sold out. might as well 还是...
"The play may begin at any moment,"I said."It may have begun already,"Susan answered. } I hurried to the ticket-office."May I have two tickets please? "I asked."I’m sorry,we’ve sold all,"the girl said."What a pity! "Susan exclaimed. } Just then,a man hurried to the ticket-office."Can I return these two tickets? "he asked."Certainly," the girl said. } I went back to the ticket-office at once."Could I have these two tickets please?"I asked."Certainly, "the girl said,"but they are
for next Wednesday’s performance.Do you still want them?" "I might as well have them,"I said sadly. {我立刻返回到票房。“请问,我可以买那两张票吗?”我问道。“当然可以,”姑娘说道,“不过这两张票是下星期三的戏票。你还要吗?”“我还是买了吧。”我怏怏不快地说。}
