NBS: China Jan-Sept GDP growth hits 11.5%
China's GDP growth hit 11.5 percent in the first nine months in 2007, compared with the same period last year.
The country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has announced on a new conference Thursday, that fixed-assets investment increased by 25.7 percent year on year, to 9,153 billion yuan during the January to September period.
Meanwhile, the country's CPI grew by 4.1 percent year on year, and food prices rose 10.6 percent from a year ago. The NBS also said FDI grew by nearly 11 percent during the first 9 months, reaching a total of 47.2 billion US dollars.
