Ra Un Sim scored the first goal for the DPRK just 22nd minutes into the first half, which turned out to be the only goal (and the winning one) for the team. With the victory, the DPRK has qualified for the World Under-20 Championship to be held inChile next year. Despite the loss, Japan still makes it into the World Under-20 Championship. Also through are China, when they defeated South Korea on the same day with another 1-0 victory. China scored after 75 minutes, when a pinpoint corner kick was headed home by Ruan Xiaoqing. With that goal, China settles for a third place finish in the tournament.
