Beijing to do more about air quality
With the 2008 Beijing Olympics just 10 months away, the International Olympic Committee has finished their three-day inspection tour of China's preparations for the Games. Although IOC President Jacques Rogge warned that air pollution might force some events to be moved, the IOC inspectors have now EXCLUDED that possibility. The IOC's Coordination Commission Chairman, Hein Verbruggen, said he was satisfied with China's progress. Meanwhile, Beijing's Olympic organizers say they will continue to clear the sky.
