Hundreds of people wait in the cold to receive a free turkey and box of food at the annual Thanksgiving Banquet in a Box distribution November 25, 2008 in Denver, Colorado. The Denver Rescue Mission, the city's largest faith-based charity for the needy, planned to distribute food to some 1,200 families at the annual event ahead of Thanksgiving.
