At seeing that flower, I always remember something curious. It’s a secret in my heart. So many years passed by, I never tell anyone.

  I run a cafe in the north part of the little city. It is out-of-the-way but still well-known in the city. The café is in a medium scale, old European style, and the light, is dim and dark. It’s not only a café but also a leisure center. I put a lot of books, albums, and interesting things in the cafe. One thing deserved to be mentioned is the treasure of my café a phonograph, which I discovered in the flea market.

  Sometimes I think, it’s a bar rather than a cafe. The difference is that we sell coffee but not alcohol. My cafe is opening from 4.P.M to 8.A.M. There are a strange crowd existed in the world. They like drinking coffee at night. The caffeine always makes them feel excited but not awake. The coffee we sell is not the common one. The secret recipe was handed down from my ancestor.

  The reason why I run it, is a strong curiosity of people’s life. Every day, different interesting things put on here.

  It was an autumn day. That day was not unusual as the other days. When the sun began to hide behind the mountains which stood far away from my cafe, its long rays lighted up everything with a golden glow. The clouds above the sky became golden and the mountains turned to a lovely purple color.

  I was busy with my work in the cafe. With the darkness covering the whole city, the cafe became more bustling. The phonograph was playing a song – I will always love you. It was so beautiful, and sometimes makes people tearful. I was enjoying the song when a voice made me come down to earth.

  “Excuse me. Could you play that song again?”

  I lifted up my head. A girl stood in front of me.

  “I will always love you.” She repeated.

  “Oh, Yes. I see. No problem.”

   I would only be in your way

   So I’ll go but I know

   I’ll think of you every step of the way

   …”
