一天，西蒙抬头仰望并思考着，我能成为什么呢？

I can be a bird in a nest in a tree.
我能成为窝里的小鸟，呆在树上。

I can be a pencil and draw pictures to share.
我能成为一支铅笔，绘出图画给大家分享。

I can be a triangle, circle, or square.
我能成为三角形，圆圈儿或是方块儿。

I can be like a fish, and swim in the ocean.
我能成为一条鱼儿，在大海遨游。

I’d play in the waves with a wiggling motion.
我还想要在波涛中舞动身体。

I can be a butterfly and float in the breeze…
我能成为一只蝴蝶，在微风中轻浮。

… or curl myself into a hive for the bees.”
或团着身子进入蜂房。

I can pick up trash and keep the town clean…
我能拾起垃圾，让镇子变得干净。

…or bend like a tree, even though I’m not green.
或像大树般弯曲，尽管我不是绿色的。

I can work hard in school and then go to college.

I could do anything with that kind of knowledge.

You wouldn’t believe how fast I can go!

Simon has discovered that he’s like you and me.

He can be anything he wants to be.
他也能成为任何他想要成为的东西。

But all he really needs to be is …HIMSELF!

笔记整理：
1.wonder的英文释义为 ”have a wish or desire to know something” ，就是“想要知道”。给个例句：He wondered what had happened. “他想要知道发生了什么事。”注意啦，还有一个和wonder长得很像的词”wander” ，是“徘徊，漫步”的意思。例句: I wandered around all the day. “我一整天都在闲逛。”

2.share是“分享”的意思。有好东西我们该与别人分享，这样才能让幸福和快乐延续哟！I like sharing my happiness with my friends. “我喜欢与朋友分享我的快乐。”

3.wiggle是“摆动，扭动”滴意思。A duck is wiggling in the street. “一只鸭子正扭动着身子在街上走。” 天呐！未免也忒嚣张了吧，它不怕被车撞嘛。

4.trash指“垃圾”。我们平时说的“垃圾”其实还有很多种表达啦，比如rubbish, garbage等等啦。

5.discover是“发现，探索”的意思。有一档很有名的记录节目就叫”discover”，感兴趣的同学可以去下载来看看噢。He discovered America in 1492.“他于1492年发现了美洲。”

6.agree“同意”，这个词很常用，如果你想赞成别人的时候，就可以说I totally agree with you.“我完全赞同你哟。”
