B: Yes. I'd like to change some money, please.  

A: All right. How much would you like to change?  

B: Let me see. I think maybe 600 USD at least.  

A: Pardon?  

B: Six hundred US dollars.  

A: I'm sorry, sir, after 7:00 PM, the change maximum limit is US $400 according to our regulations.  

B: But I am badly in need of the amount. Might I ask you to make an exception for me  

A: I'm afraid we cannot help you, sir, because that would be violating the regulations. I owe an apology for doing nothing about it.  

B: It's just too bad. I have to leave it as it is, and thank you just the same.
